QARGOS utilises 3DEXPERIENCE for electric cargo vehicles in India
The platform enables QARGOS engineers to collaborate on the virtual twin of their product.
India-based QARGOS introduced the QARGOS F9 Scooter Cargo Platform, a Compact Logistics Vehicle (CLV), that addresses critical gaps in the country’s logistics sector.
The F9, launched in 2024, offers enhanced cargo capacity and rider safety, redefining cargo transportation on two wheels.
Patented in over 40 countries, the QARGOS F9 hopes to enhance global logistics operations by eliminating inefficiencies and reducing operational costs.
Equipped with IoT technology and advanced fleet management systems, it aligns with sustainable development goals, contributing to global sustainability objectives, it said in a press statement.
Founded by electrical engineer Vijay Praveen in 2013 and joined by Co-Founder Alok Das in 2016, QARGOS utilised SOLIDWORKS Premium for initial designs and later integrated the 3DEXPERIENCE Works portfolio to accelerate innovation and optimise vehicle performance.

QARGOS utilises Dassault Systèmes’ 3DEXPERIENCE platform to propel the development of innovative electric cargo vehicles.
With a focus on speed to market and cutting-edge technology, QARGOS aims to improve urban logistics by optimising engineering processes and accelerating product creation.
“Various engineering simulations led to significant design optimizations and performance enhancements, including a 30% reduction in chassis weight, improved vehicle aerodynamics, and maximised cargo compartment size.” the statement said.
By integrating the 3DEXPERIENCE platform into their development environment, QARGOS engineers collaborate on virtual twins of electric cargo vehicles in real-time, ensuring easier component reuse, addressing vehicle variability complexities, and reducing engineering-to-manufacturing cycle time.
