BM Windows highlights strong manufacturing capabilities in major facade export projects
BM Windows is the sole representative of Vietnam in the field of aluminium and glass facades to receive the 2024 Asian Export Award in the category of Vietnam Export Innovation of the Year - Construction Materials.
To fortify its foothold in the competitive international facade export market, leading manufacturer BM Windows has continually enhanced its foundational capabilities in global standards, demonstrating proficiency in exporting high-quality aluminium-glass facades to discerning markets.
Amongst its recent successes, BM Windows has notably supplied facade systems for The One Toronto, Canada's tallest tower, and the Marriott Hotel in Vancouver. This venture also marks the company’s penetration into the Canadian market. In securing the project, BM Windows has surpassed numerous international competitors.
The company has assembled a team of skilled engineers and experts to analyse the project's exacting technical specifications as the demands for this infrastructure necessitates capabilities to withstand severe climate conditions and wind pressures. It has also invited investors and specialists to Vietnam for direct collaboration, refining technical documents, and conducting comprehensive assessments.
The project was conceived by Foster & Partners, a leading global design firm, and features a range of complex, unique, and refined details. Each challenging aspect of the façade design is executed at an unprecedented level of excellence, unseen in prior Canadian projects.
Contributing to the creation of this masterpiece by supplying the façade, BM Windows produced over 38 types of panels, totalling more than 7,000 unitised panel units. The entire façade of the project was manufactured to comply with North American standards, under the strict supervision of ASTM International — the American Society for Testing and Materials.
Furthermore, the company is poised to pursue facade export opportunities and other prospective ventures across the North American market.
Most recently, BM Windows has developed a product line specifically tailored for the US market, meeting all the international standards of the American Architectural Manufacturers Association and the American Society for Testing and Materials, and successfully exporting aluminium and glass facades for the Marriott Courtyard hotel project in Hawaii.
The company has also been chosen to provide facade solutions for high-end projects such as 15 Sydney Avenue and The Grande in downtown Canberra, Australia (currently Atlassian Central in Sydney, Australia). It also signed earlier this year a strategic partnership with Starke Facade to export facades to New Zealand and expand into the Pacific Islands, encompassing nine countries.
BM Windows has steadily elevated its standing in Vietnam, becoming a leader in the aluminium and glass facade sector. In May, it represented the country at the Zak World of Facades industry conference in Toronto, Canada, engaging with international experts on global procurement trends in North America's aluminium and glass facade sector.
The company’s remarkable manufacturing capabilities have been recognised by the prestigious Asian Export Awards 2024, as it bags the Vietnam Export Innovation of the Year - Construction Materials category win for its major ventures.
“BM Windows aims not only to pave the way for future scaled-up export projects within the company but also to inspire other Vietnamese exporters,” it said.
Now in its seventh year, the coveted programme is the pinnacle award for Asian exporters. It celebrates export excellence and recognises export businesses that have significantly contributed to the economic growth of the region.
