Hyena delivers integrated e-bike systems for Asia

The Taiwan-based company sees growth opportunities in South Asia.

Hyena Inc., a Taiwan-based e-bike system specialist, is positioning itself for growth in Asia by offering fully integrated solutions that go beyond single components.

Shawn Lin, Manager of Hyena Inc. noted that while many suppliers focus on individual components, Hyena’s strength lies in its ability to integrate systems from the start.

“We were very focused on driving and powering and also the integration of technology from the very beginning,” he said during the Taipei Cycle 2025. “If your components are not integrated well on the bicycle, you will face a lot of after service issues.”

While Hyena’s main customers are in the US and Europe, Lin sees potential in Asia despite current infrastructure and regulatory challenges.
