New programme to link UK businesses with Singapore advanced manufacturing
Singapore Deep-Tech Alliance and Innovate UK launched the programme.
Businesses and startups in the UK will soon work with their counterparts in Singapore after Singapore Deep-Tech Alliance (SDTA) and Innovate UK launched a programme to support both countries’ businesses.
In a joint statement, SDTA and Innovate UK rolled out Innovate UK Global Incubator Programme Singapore, which will support innovative UK businesses to build high-potential connections with the advanced manufacturing sector in Singapore.
The partnership will also boost UK startups and businesses to work with Singapore’s businesses, universities, labs, and investors to encourage the deployment of technologies for manufacturing.
“This includes using additive manufacturing, industrial internet of things (IoT), digital transformation, advanced sensors, robotics, AI and VR within the advanced manufacturing sector and overlaying the solutions across various industries such as food processing and agritech, automotive, aerospace, health, chemicals, cleantech, biomanufacturing and shipbuilding,” read the statement.
