EVE Energy upgrades battery cells for green demand

The firm targets India’s EV sector amidst push for cleaner energy.

EVE Energy is stepping up battery innovation to meet rising demand from the electric vehicle (EV) and renewable energy sectors, focusing on higher-capacity and diversified cell designs.

“We are selling the battery cell. So, of course, we have to innovate more capacity and different sizes to cater to markets like electric vehicles, energy storage and all these portable devices,” said Dennis Yong, Sales Manager at EVE Energy.

Yong added during the Taipei Cycle 2025 that India’s booming EV market and global demand for energy storage systems are driving the company’s roadmap. “Electric vehicles are our target in India, and energy storage around the world,” he said. “People need to have renewable energy for our future, definitely.”
